Traffic was witnessed along the Outering Road near Donholm on Sunday morning after a car veered off an elevated stretch of the road along the service lane and plunged several meters down, blocking part of the road.
Photos shared online showed the vehicle overturned, with its upper section nearly completely destroyed.
Other motorists were seen swarming the area to assess the situation and to check whether there were any occupants in the vehicle.

Witnesses report that the vehicle’s driver died at the scene, but authorities have yet to provide any confirmation.
As of publication, no emergency or law enforcement teams had arrived to remove the vehicle and restore normal traffic flow.
The circumstances leading to the accident remain unknown, but officials confirmed that no other vehicle was affected.
This accident follows another one reported two days earlier, when two PSVs were involved in a head-on collision along Thika Road, injuring at least 13 people.
Eyewitnesses recounted that one vehicle was en route to Thika while the other was headed toward Nairobi when the two collided, trapping passengers inside.
Reports indicate that the Friday, September 19 crash happened in the early morning hours after one of the drivers lost control while attempting to dodge a donkey laden with water jerrycans.
