Seven suspects were on Saturday, September 20 arrested with a consignment of stolen household goods and electronics in Bungoma during a police patrol.
In a statement, the National Police Service (NPS) noted that police officers from Bungoma Police Station were on patrol when they intercepted the suspects with some of the stolen goods.
The police officers then proceeded to interrogate the suspects, after which they revealed that there were other stolen items in their hideouts.

The suspects led officers to a house in the Galana area, where more items were recovered and additional suspects were apprehended.
Officers conducting the operation discovered several stolen goods, including laptops, TVs, sound systems, solar equipment, kitchenware, and other electronics.
They further intercepted two motorcycles that were allegedly used to move the stolen property.
The items were recorded as exhibits, and the suspects were detained.
They are expected to be arraigned at the Bungoma Law Courts on September 22.
The NPS, through a statement, commended the team involved in the arrests and reaffirmed its resolve to continue cracking down on criminal networks.
