TRM Holdings Limited has dismissed viral claims that the Thika Road Mall (TRM) is set to be sold.
In a statement on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, the fim stated that no individual, agent, or entity has been authorised to market, advertise, or negotiate any sale of the property on its behalf.
“TRM Holdings Limited (“TRM Holdings”), the owner of Thika Road Mall, wishes to address recent social media posts claiming that the mall is available for purchase,” stated TRM Holdings.
“These posts are entirely false, unauthorised, and have no connection whatsoever to TRM Holdings or any of its directors, officers, or authorised representatives”, the firm added.
Therefore, TRM cautioned the public and the business community to disregard such posts entirely, with TRM Holdings urging that no reliance be placed on any information contained within them.
“Members of the public and the business community are advised to disregard these posts in their entirety. No reliance should be placed on any information contained in them, and no enquiries should be directed to the individuals or entities referenced therein in connection with any purported sale”.
The company further declared they it will not be responsible for any financial loss or inconvenience suffered by those who engage with parties falsely claiming to represent it.
“TRM Holdings wishes to assure its tenants, partners, customers and the wider community that Thika Road Mall continues its business in a prudent and responsible manner,” the statement further read.
