ODM has issued a fresh set of political, economic and public health demands while reaffirming its commitment to the broad-based government.
Speaking during a rally in Kisumu on Sunday, May 31, party leaders addressed a range of national concerns, including the fuel crisis, school safety, public health programs and Ebola preparedness.
The party reiterated its commitment to the cooperation arrangement within government, saying it intends to strengthen partnerships as it positions itself for future political contests.

ODM also renewed calls for the full implementation of its 10-point agenda, including compensation for victims of post-election violence.
On the economy, the party raised concerns over the ongoing fuel shortages and the challenges facing Kenyans, while expressing optimism that government measures would help ease the situation.
ODM also called for urgent action to improve safety in schools following the recent tragedy at Utumishi Academy in Gilgil.
The party urged authorities to review the implementation of recommendations made by previous committees and commissions on school safety to prevent similar incidents in the future.
The party further weighed in on public health discussions surrounding Ebola and other internationally supported health programs, calling for greater public education and engagement to address misinformation and political narratives around health matters.
ODM also pushed for a parliamentary inquiry into the issue through the National Assembly Health Committee.
Meanwhile, ODM leader and Siaya Senator Oburu Oginga ruled out the possibility of a political alliance with former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
Speaking at the same event, Oburu urged ODM supporters, particularly those from the Luo community, to remain loyal to the party as it prepares for the 2027 General Election.
He dismissed the prospect of partnering with Gachagua, instead signalling support for continued engagement with parties that share ODM’s political objectives, including its current cooperation with United Democratic Alliance.
