Mumias East MP Peter Salasya has announced the beginning of a 10-day international working tour that will see him visit several cities across Europe and the United States.
Taking to his socials on Sunday, November 23, he noted that his itinerary includes London and multiple US states, where he plans to engage with investors, development partners, and Kenyans living abroad.
Salasya said the trip is supported by the PK Salasya Foundation, noting that the organisation has continued to create international opportunities aimed at advancing development initiatives for the people of Mumias East and Kenya at large.

The lawmaker plans to meet diaspora communities, international partners, and potential investors throughout the tour.
He noted that the engagements will provide an opportunity to share his broader presidential vision for a just, inclusive, and economically vibrant Kenya.
Salasya added that the discussions will prioritise attracting sustainable investments aimed at supporting national development and creating meaningful employment, particularly for young people in Mumias East.
He also revealed that the partnership facilitating the tour will sponsor this year’s edition of his annual youth sports tournament, the PK Salasya Classic Cup, which is dedicated to nurturing talent, promoting unity, and transforming the lives of young people.
