Mudavadi indicated that the talks will centre on deepening cooperation in key sectors, particularly affordable housing, the digital economy, and tourism.

He noted that Malaysia has shown strong interest in supporting Kenya’s housing and infrastructure goals, and the visit provides an opportunity to strengthen collaboration in these areas.

Tourism will also be a major point of engagement, with both countries exploring joint efforts to promote their destinations, boost cultural exchange, and enhance their presence on the global tourism stage through international partnerships.

On Sunday night, President William Ruto hosted a state banquet at State House, Nairobi, in honour of the Malaysian Prime Minister.

During the event, President Ruto noted that Kenya looks to Malaysia’s development journey as a source of inspiration.

On his part, Ibrahim praised President Ruto for the affordable housing programme in Kenya.
