Kitutu Chache South MP Anthony Kibagendi has sparked public uproar after CCTV footage surfaced showing him assaulting a man inside a Java House outlet on November 27.
The video captures the victim, identified as Enock Omariba Moriasi, seated in a corner eating when the confrontation began.
MP Kibagendi, dressed in jungle green trousers, a black jacket, and a mask, walked into the restaurant and approached Moriasi, pointing at him and appearing to confront him verbally.

Moriasi is seen responding, though the cause of the disagreement is not clear from the footage.
The situation escalates suddenly as the lawmaker kicks Moriasi in the chest and grabs him by the neck, forcing restaurant staff and patrons to intervene and pull the two apart.
Despite efforts by staff and other customers to intervene, Kibagendi continued his assault on Moriasi, punching him to the floor and slapping another patron who tried to restrain him.
The tense scene caused panic among diners as people rushed to separate the two men.
After several minutes, the situation began to calm, with Kibagendi and Moriasi speaking briefly before the MP turned and walked out of the restaurant, leaving a shocked crowd behind.
The incident has since drawn widespread public attention and condemnation.
