Missing blogger and activist Ndiangui Kinyagia has been found alive.
According to his family lawyer, the activist who ha been missing for over a week in hiding in an undisclosed location fearing for his life.
The lawyer, through a statement on Thursday, July 3, 2025, confirmed that Kanyagia had reached out to a family member on Tuesday evening and confirmed he was alive and well.
“I wish to inform Kenyans that Mr Ndiangui, who went missing last week, had contacted the family and that he is well, healthy and safe. Ndiangui contacted a family member on Tuesday evening from an undisclosed location”, the lawyer stated.
The lawyer disclosed that Kinyagia had gone into hiding over fear for his life after receiving information that the DCI were after him over unknown criminal allegations and added that the activist is open to presenting himself before the court, but only if his safety and security are guaranteed.
“We have therefore advised him to present himself before the High Court at Milimani Law Courts today, Thursday the 3rd July at 11 am”, the lawyer noted.
Following the advice, Kinyagia appeared before the Milimani Law Courts moments after his family denied claims that he had been found.
