A man linked to the violent robbery in Parklands has been arrested in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County.
In a statement released on July 3, the NPS noted that the arrest follows a robbery with violence reported on June 28, 2025, at the Parklands Police Station.
“After pursuing several leads, investigators identified a vehicle linked to the crime. The suspect was tracked down and arrested in Eldoret town on 2nd July 2025,” the statement reads.

The arrest led to the recovery of a silver Toyota Axio believed to have been used in the commission of the crime.
After searching the vehicle, officers found a reflector jacket, a police headdress with a white cover and two different vehicle registration plates.
The suspect and the recovered items were transported to Parklands Police Station for further investigation and processing.
NPS went on in their statement to praise the work of the officers involved in the arrest.
“The National Police Service commends the swift action taken by investigators and reiterates its commitment to protecting and serving the public,” the statement concluded.
