Ex- Chief Justice David Maraga has disclosed that he has raised more than Ksh500,000 through his website davidmaraga.com in two days.
Speaking during a recent interview, the Ex-CJ noted that Kenyans living in the diaspora have also contributed to his campaign kitty.
According to Maraga, the funds are a clear sign that Kenyans are backing him ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The former Chief Justice expressed confidence that Kenyans will contribute to his campaign kitty.
“We have set up a website, and within two days in Kenya, we have received more than Ksh500,000. Those in the diaspora have also contributed in dollars. That tells you that Kenyans want change,” he said.
He revealed that he plans to contribute between Ksh1 million and Ksh2 million to his campaign.
The ex-CJ went on to note that Kenyans will contribute as low as Ksh50 and the funds will help in his 2027 campaigns.
