Upon arrival, detectives arrested Kioko and the farmhand as they secured the scene and began the process of recovering the deceased’s body.

The body was subsequently exhumed in the presence of a pathologist, Ministry of Health officials and police officers to facilitate forensic examination and establish the circumstances surrounding her death.

Following the exhumation, the remains were transferred to Nairobi Funeral Home for preservation pending a postmortem examination.

Meanwhile, Kioko and Deo remain in police custody as detectives continue investigations to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The DCI also extended its condolences to the family and friends of the deceased, assuring them of its commitment to pursuing justice.
