Reports indicate that the passenger had boarded a Kenya Airways Flight from New York to Nairobi.
According to a report by Kenya Airways, the tragedy occurred aboard flight KQ 003, which had departed from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York en route to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Nairobi.

“By international aviation medical protocols, the crew, supported by three qualified medical professionals who volunteered on board, immediately initiated emergency procedures, including the use of onboard medical equipment”, part of the Kenya Airways statement read.
Despite the use of onboard medical equipment and sustained resuscitation efforts, the passenger was pronounced dead at 9:10 am, before the plane could land.
They tried to seek urgent medical intervention by diverting to Entebe International Airport in Uganda.
But following the confirmation of the death, the aircraft resumed its journey to Nairobi.
“Kenya Airways is coordinating closely with the family of the deceased, local authorities, and aviation regulators to provide necessary support and determine the cause of death in line with applicable clinical protocols”, the Airways further stated.
