During the operation, the police recovered a firearm that was in the custody of one of the suspects.

According to reports, the arrest came after the police detained the parents of the suspects to pressure the four to surrender to the authorities.

The Ethiopian authorities urged their Kenyan counterparts to promptly engage them regarding the arrest of the suspects.

As investigations continue, the motive behind the arrest remains unclear.
