Singer Yemi Alade who is popularly known as Mama Africa has been announced as the EQUAL for September 2024 by Spotify.
The multi-award-winning singer is mostly known for her dedication in championing African culture and music and she has continued to make her mark on the global level.
She represented African music on international platforms after she was recognized for her powerful voice and electrifying performance.
Yemi Alade’s powerful voice has attracted many all over the continent, something that has resulted in her having collaborated with well known artists such as Beyonce, Awilo Longomba,Angelique Kidjo among others.
Yemi’s talent has made her earn recognition worldwide further establishing herself as one of the most prominent and influential female artists in her country Nigeria.
She did not fail to give advice, encouraging people to follow their dreams.
