Popular App WhatsApp has introduced a new feature that allows users to add music to their status updates.
With the new music feature, users will now be able to attach their favourite music to photo, video or text status updates.
The additions give users more way to connect creatively with their contacts such as expressing themselves through lyrics and set the mood according to the post that captures their interest.
The music will therefore be heard playing in the background according to the users satisfaction.
HOW TO USE THE NEW FEATURE
- 1.You will be required to open the Status tab in WhatsApp and and tap on add to my status.
- 2.The photo/video or text update will be uploaded.
- 3.Once uploaded, the user will tap on the music icon to browse a wide selection of songs.
- 4.After choosing a track, you will trim it to your desired section and add it into your status.
The new feature which is rolling out in stages is currently available only to iPhone users with no official timeline yet for an android release.
