The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has announced a nomination fee of Ksh250,000 for aspirants seeking its ticket in the Ol Kalou Constituency by-election.
In a statement issued on Sunday, April 26, the ruling party invited interested candidates to submit their applications for consideration.
The party said that women, youth, and persons living with disabilities (PWDs) will pay a reduced nomination fee of Ksh125,000.

The party, led by William Ruto, further confirmed that its nominations will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026.
UDA added that the registration window for aspirants will open on Monday, April 27, 2026, and close on Sunday, May 3, 2026.
The party emphasized that all aspirants must first register through its online portal.
Once registration is completed, the system will automatically prompt applicants to pay the nomination fee via M-Pesa STK Push directly through the platform.
The party clarified that the registration process will only be deemed complete after both the application and payment have been successfully submitted through the portal.
UDA further stated that any public officer intending to vie in the Ol Kalou by-election must resign from public office by April 30, 2026.
