Two Kenya Air Force officers have passed away in fatal plane crash in Kwale County.
The incident, which took place on June 14, 2025, in Ndavaya, Kinango which was confirmed by the County Commissioner, Stephen Orinde.
He said security officials were yet to establish whether the victims were trainees.
The incident was also confirmed by the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF), who stated that there were two pilots on board, adding that recovery is ongoing.
“Earlier today, 14th June 2025, a Kenya Air Force, Grob 120A aircraft experienced an emergency while on a training flight in the general area of Mwakijembe Primary School, Ndavaya Kwale County”, KDF stated.
“On Board were two pilots. Recovery is ongoing”, KDF added.
