The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has set the maximum prices of petroleum for June 15, 2025, to July 14, 2025.
In their latest review, the price of petroleum will increase by Ksh2.69 per litre while those of Diesel and Kerosene will decrease by Ksh1.85 and Ksh2.06 per litre respectively.
The price of Super Petrol, Diesel and Kerosene in Nairobi will retail at Ksh177.32, Ksh162.91 and Ksh146.93 respectively, effective midnight for the next 30 days.
The regulatory noted that the calculated prices of petroleum products will be in force from Saturday, June 15, to Monday, July 14.
“By section 101(Y) of the Petroleum Act 2019 and Legal Notice No.192 of 2022, we have calculated the maximum retail prices of petroleum products which will be in force from June 15 to July 14”, part of the statement read.
“The prices are inclusive of the 16% Value Added Tax (VAT) in line with the provisions. Of the Finance Act 2023, the Tax Laws (Amendment) Act 2024 and the revised rates for excise duty adjusted for inflation as per Legal Notice No. 194 of 2020”, the statement added.
