Influencer Anne Kawira has announced plans to vie for the Member of County Assembly (MCA) seat for Athiru Gaiti Ward in the 2027 General Election.
Kawira, who happens to be Prophet Kanyari’s friend, made the announcement through a TikTok post on Tuesday, February 24, 2026.
To support he bid, she outlined an eight-point manifesto focused on community development and social welfare.
In her first agenda, she prioritised youth empowerment and jobs.
Other agenda’s included women and vulnerable groups support, and education for all.
According to Kawira, transparency, accountability, and responsible leadership, formed part of the changes she wants to make in order to promote trust and openness in public service.
Among other agenda’s included health care access and community Safety and Security.
In the infrastructure sector, Kawira mentioned to improve local infrastructure to support economic growth and better living standards.
More agendas included transparency, Leadership, and Accountability and environmental sustainability.
