In the clip, PS Muthoni is seen singing along to gospel music, with the camera capturing her face up close.
Observers quickly noticed her teary eyes, leading some to speculate that she had been crying while recording the video.

Many viewers also focused on the lyrics of the gospel song, which spoke of witnessing the glory of a supreme being, adding to the emotional tone of the video.
Speculation arose over whether PS Mary Muthoni was expressing gratitude after surviving a road accident in Kisumu, reportedly involving a motorcade belonging to Health CS Aden Duale in a multiple-car crash.
Veteran journalist Saddique Shaban noted that Kenyans were divided, with some fearing the video might be a subtle cry for help, while others considered it a simple, harmless post.
Meanwhile, some suggested that Muthoni might simply be exhausted after attending Medical Services PS Ouma Oluga’s thanksgiving ceremony.
A few social media users went further, claiming that the demands of her job could be taking a toll on her health and urged her to consider stepping down for her well-being.
The PS has not responded to any of the comments on her TikTok page and other social media platforms.
She however appeared to be in high spirits when she attended International Women’s Day and Women in PR Dinner Awards.
