The DNA results involving musician Bahati and the woman claiming to be his biological mother, Judith Makokha, has been released.
The tests results were released on Monday, March 9, 2026, on Bahati’s YouTube channel explaining the testing process and outcome.
The singer visited the hospital two weeks after taking the test to receive the results and provide clarity to the public.
The DNA analysis has been conducted by Medical doctor David Mwithiga, who confirmed that the woman is not biologically related to Bahati.
“Kevin Bahati has XY chromosomes, and Judith Makokha has XX chromosomes. After reviewing all parameters, the DNA clearly shows there is no match, indicating that Judith Makokha is his biological mother”, the doctor explained.
After seeing the test results, the woman emotionally wept as she sought to know the whereabouts of her son.
According to Bahati, he had been aware of the woman’s claim for five years.
However, he only decided to take the matter seriously after a YouTuber brought it to public attention, prompting him to engage directly and proceed with the DNA test.
He further claimed that it would be wonderful if the woman turned out to be his mother.
This solves the public mystery who have been wondering whether the woman was Bahati’s biological mother or not, while some claimed that it was clout chasing.
