A Super Metro bus was involved in a road accident with a personal vehicle on Thika Road.
The accident which took place on Saturday, March 29, 2025, resulted into a bus overturning and the car landing into a ditch.
Reports revealed that the accident happened along Jomoko, on the road leading to Thika town.
Further reports indicated that there were no casualties from the accident but the information is yet to be confirmed.

Alleged reports by eyewitnesses revealed that driver of the bus was over speeding and overlapping while driving carelessly.
This comes days after the Transport Licensing and Appeals Board lifted the Sacco’s suspension, directing it to resume operations.
The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) revoked Super Metro’s licenses due to a lack of adherence to the Public Service Vehicles Regulations, 2014, and other set regulations.
They had further warned members of the public against boarding vehicles belonging to the Sacco.
Despite the suspension being lifted, the matter is still before the courts awaiting NTSA’s response to the Tribunal’s directive.
