Evojo Primary School has been closed after body parts of an unknown individual was found in the school toilet.
This was after a pupil who had been assigned to clean the latrine found the dismembered body, who was terrified and alerted the school administration.
Upon learning of the unfortunate incident, the school immediately suspended learning for the day and sent pupils home as investigations began.
Police officers and members of the county disaster team are currently trying to retrieve the body parts from the pit latrines.
According to one the parents in the school, the incident may have happened due to lack of security in the school and fencing which could have enable the crime to be committed.
The police, on the other hand, are urging anyone with information that could help identify the victim or the perpetrators behind the incident to come forward.
As investigations continue, the motive behind the killing is unknown.
The authorities believe that the dismembered body was dumped at the school, but the killing occurred elsewhere.
