Digital content creator Sherly Gabriella has recently disclosed she was denied a United States visa.
Taking to her TikTok account, the content creator narrated the emotional pain that she went through.
She recalled her experience during the interview that made her believe she had already received the visa, only for her to get the pink slip.

Sheryl displayed the pink paper with tears almost dropping from her eyes as she tried to show netizens the information on it.
She moreover narrated how the interviewer asked her questions that made her feel like she had already received the visa.
“She is asking you questions, and in your mind, you are thinking you have already gotten it. Then she puts her hands and says, ‘Sorry, but your visa has been declined’. Let me tell you, you leave the embassy crying. You do not show it. Even when someone greets you, you size them up. But it is okay, we are used to it. The good thing is you walk in there 50-50.”
Normally, when the US embassy gives one a pink slip, it means that their visa application requires further administrative processing due to concerns about the information provided, travel purpose, or other aspects of their application.
