Former Democratic Action Party (DAP)-Kenya politician Seth Panyako has announced that he has rejoined President William Ruto’s United Democratic Alliance (UDA).
In a post shared on his social media account on Thursday, July 17, Panyako officially declared his political ambition, announcing that he will contest the Malava parliamentary seat on a UDA ticket in the 2027 General Election.
“I will be vying for the Member of Parliament, Malava Constituency, on the UDA Party ticket in the 2027 General Election,” Panyako stated.

He also dismissed claims that he had planned to run for a Senate seat, stating that he would not be swayed by what he termed propaganda.
“Those who are claiming that I will be vying for a Senate seat, I want to tell you that that is propaganda,” Panyako added.
The vocal politician further hinted at organising a homecoming ceremony soon, to officially declare his political stand ahead of the next general election.
“Homecoming soon. Stay tuned for the official date and venue. Malava people first,” Panyako wrote.
