Nicco Movers Ltd has suspended a driver after a video circulating on social media allegedly showed him engaging in inappropriate conduct while on duty.
In a statement issued on Thursday, July 16, the transport company said it was treating the allegations with seriousness, noting that the claims involve alleged indecent behaviour, intimidating remarks and the handling of the complaint after the incident was reported.
The company confirmed that an internal investigation had been launched and that the individuals involved had been suspended pending the outcome of the inquiry.

Nicco Movers further reaffirmed its commitment to professionalism, accountability and quality customer service, adding that it would continue strengthening its internal procedures while ensuring appropriate disciplinary action is taken where necessary.
The development comes just over a month after the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) revoked the operator licence of NICCO Movers 1 Sacco following the death of Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) student Eugene Mutuku.
The student died after reportedly being pushed from a moving matatu operated under the sacco.
NTSA Director General Nashon Kondiwa said investigations into the incident established that the root cause lay in the management of the sacco, which had allegedly failed to maintain effective control over its fleet and implement adequate safety measures.
According to the authority, the management had not demonstrated sufficient efforts to address critical safety concerns, prompting the regulator to conclude that vehicles operating under the sacco posed a risk to passengers and other road users.
As a result, NTSA revoked the sacco’s operator licence and ordered the immediate cessation of its public transport operations.
