Two teenage cousins in Bomet have allegedly ingested a poisonous substance.
The victims, aged 14, and 15, were found in a room where they had been staying after swallowing an unknown substance.
According to police reports, one of the deceased was pronounced dead upon arrival at Longisa Referral Hospital, while the other succumbed while undergoing treatment at the same facility.
The bodies of the two teenagers were therefore transferred to Longisa Referral Hospital mortuary pending post-mortem examinations.
Police have therefore launched investigations to understand the poisonous substance used and the motive behind the murder.
