President William Ruto on Thursday, May 1, 2025 hosted students from PCEA Booth Girls’ High School for breakfast at State House, Nairobi.
In the photos shared by the Head of State on his social media platform, the students dressed in their school uniform were seen enjoying a sumptuous meal with the President as they laughed together.
Speaking at the State House, President Ruto pledged to sponsor more than 220 needy students for their entire four-year education program.
“The more than 220 learners from needy families will have their entire four-year education program fully sponsored in line with the promise I made during the commissioning of the Institution in Ngong’ Forest on March 13, 2025”, he stated.
“We are investing in a holistic education for our girls to expose them to more and better opportunities. With equal access to quality education, our girls, especially from vulnerable backgrounds, will be empowered to reach their potential”, he added.
He further restated his commitment to building more schools to ensure that every child has access to education.
