Patrick Matasi Exposed For Allegations of Match Fixing in Leaked Videos

A leaked video has sparked outrage in social media allegedly tied to Kenyan goalkeeper Patrick Matasi accusing him of match fixing.

In the video, Matasi was seen seated in a car as an unidentified man issued instructions to him seemingly like they have done that kind of business before.

Matasi who is currently playing for Kakamega Homeboyz FC, however, appeared to be listening while nodding his head in agreement while seated in the back seat of the car.

“I repeat before the boss. I have never let you down, and I will never let you down. I have done business with you and had zero failure, right? Whatever will be given to me, I will forward to you” the man said.

“I will give you a phone call. We both will confirm you have received. The deal is on. The first half, bro, what we want must come” the man continued.

The goalkeeper had so far been noticed for conceding many goals while making avoidable mistakes.

During Matasi’s last appearance for Harambee Stars, he conceded four goals in a 4-1 defeat to Cameroon, which raised eyebrows among Harambee Stars fans.

The loss depreciated Kenya’s chances of qualifying for the Africa Cup of Nations, bringing an end to his tenure with the team.
