The gathering will bring together various ODM leadership organs and representatives from across the party’s national and county structures, including members of the National Executive Committee, the party’s Parliamentary Group, and governors and deputy governors affiliated with the party.

The party has also invited chairpersons of the Branch Executive Committees and County Coordinating Committees, as well as majority and minority leaders of county assemblies affiliated with ODM.

The convention will further bring together leaders from the party’s special leagues, including national officials from the Youth League, Women League, and Disability League.

Members serving in the party’s standing committees are also expected to take part in the meeting.

The notice also details a nomination framework to ensure representation from various regions and party structures.

Each county will nominate one delegate representing marginalized groups, while Branch Executive Committees will nominate a representative in counties where the Member of the National Assembly is from ODM.

County Coordinating Committees will also nominate additional delegates in cases where the Senator, Woman Representative, or Governor is an ODM member.

The National Executive Committee will further appoint top-up delegates from party branches to enhance representation.

During the convention, delegates are expected to consider key resolutions, including the ratification of the National Governing Council’s decision on party leadership and a resolution by the National Executive Committee concerning Article 87 of the party constitution.
