Nyando Member of Parliament Jared Okello is mourning the loss of his mother.
The passing of his mother was confirmed by ODM through in a message of condolence to the MP.
“Our sincere and heartfelt condolences to the family of Hon. Jared Okello, MP for Nyando,..following the passing of the family matriarch Mama Doris Okello,” the ODM Party.
According to the Party, Mama Doris Okello died on the night of May 5, however did not disclose the cause of the death.
The Party further wished the MP condolences, putting him in thoughts and prayers in the difficult time.
“We pray to God to guide the family and give them strength, comfort and peace during this difficult time of grief. May the Soul of Mama Doris RIP,” the Party added.

MP Jared Okello is currently serving his second term, having been elected in 2017.
The MP is also part of ODM’s National Executive Council (NEC), the party’s top administrative and policy-making body.
