The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader, Oburu Odinga, has taken a short break from Kenyan politics.
The announcement was made by his sister Ruth Odinga on Saturday, November 22, in the morning.
Ruth stated that Oburu had jetted out of the country to recharge after weeks of heated politics.
Reports indicate that the Siaya Senator has travelled to Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), for a three-day trip to rest following a hectic political schedule that saw him preside over the party’s 20th Anniversary.
“ODM Party Leader Oburu Oginga has travelled to Dubai for a three-day visit to rest following a hectic political period,” Ruth stated.
This is the first trip after Oburu’s brother the late Raila Odinga died on October 15, 2025.
