Makueni County Executive Committee Member for Trade, Marketing, Industry, Culture, and Tourism, Dr. Sonia Nzilani has died.
The County official passed away on Saturday, November 22nd, 2025.
Dr. Nzilani was found dead on Saturday morning at her home in Makindu.
Her death was announced by the Makueni Governor, Mutula Kilonzo Junior, who eulogized her as a leader committed to public service, noting her passion for the growth of Makueni County.
The Governor also described the deceased as an accomplished environmentalist who was even nicknamed “Syomiti” for her contribution to environmental conservation.
