The National Youth Service (NYS) in Kenya has announced a recruitment exercise for volunteers across the nation.
The advertisement, which was published on MyGov paper dated 28th February 2025 will take place from Monday 10th February to Saturday 15th February.
The recruitment will be eligible for all Kenyans between the age of 18 years to 24 years.

The Kenya National Youth Service wishes to announce to the general public that there will be a recruitment exercise of NYS volunteers (male and female) throughout the Republic from Monday 10th February 2025 to 15th February 2025 as per the requirements.

All candidates seeking to be enlisted will be required to be Kenyan Citizens and residents of their respective sub-counties.
They will also be required to have a KCSE mean grade of D plain and above, an original National ID, Certificate of good conduct and get a medical check-up during and after the exercise.
They must be prepared to go through a rigorous training session.
The service encourages persons with disability and orphans to avail themselves for the recruitment exercise in their respective sub-counties.
Successful candidates will be expected to report for the paramilitary course at the Academy in Gilgil and Naivasha on the date and times and that will be specified on the issued calling letter.
While delivering the notice, NYS noted that they do not condone corruption as it may lead to automatic disqualification or prosecution.
