Content creator Shes Kemunto has reveals plan to the launch a paid WhatsApp dating group aimed at helping serious singles find partners.
In a statement on her social media account on Tuesday, January 14, 2026, Kemunto said the idea was inspired by the high number of relationship requests she receives daily from both men and women.
“I have this idea of opening a WhatsApp dating app because there are quite a few men in my inbox looking for partners and women looking for men,” she stated.
“I’ll be very specific with the kind of men and women I want to join the WhatsApp dating app in terms of work, financial stability, age and more”, Kemunto added.
According to her, the first round of the dating group will be limited to 20 to 30 men, each paying Sh4,000 to join, while women will pay Sh2,000.
“If you all want a free link to connect then might as well join the free dating apps available, but mine will be a quick fix. Over here we keep it classy, less people, better deal. I will specifically select the women myself and as for the men, please look anyhow you want as long as you’re worth,” she further said.
