MP Ndindi Nyoro Breaks Silence After Being Kicked Out as the Chair of the Budget and Appropriations Committee

Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro has finally addressed his recent dismissal as the chairperson of the Budget and Appropriations Committee in the National Assembly.

While addressing the press at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi, Nyoro clarified that he does not know why he was removed from the Committee role.

Nyoro went on to note that despite being replaced a week ago, he never received any explanation from the coalition leaders stating why they decided to get rid of him.

He moreover disclosed that no individual called to explain on why he had been removed from the lucrative parliamentary position.

“I do not know why I was replaced, I am saying it in good faith, I came to set the record straight. No one in the leadership of our coalition has ever called me in regards to the position,” Nyoro revealed.

The lawmaker however expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to serve as the chairperson of the Budget and Appropriations Committee adding that the opportunity gave him the chance to learn a lot of things.

The MP further maintained that he did not have any regrets about his removal from the role, stating that the loss was part of the mixed experiences of being a human being.

Nyoro’s remarks come days after he was replaced as the Budget and Appropriations Committee Chairperson by Alego Usonga MP Sam Atandi.
