Police officers in Trans Nzoia County have arrested one suspect linked to a string of violent robberies and gang rape incidents.
This follows intense crackdown on organised criminal groups in Kiminini Sub-County by the National Police Service (NPS).
Acccording to NPS, the arrest followed an intelligence-led operation and a coordinated ambush that led officers to a storage facility believed to have been used by the suspects.
During the raid, police recovered several stolen items, including motorcycles, electronics, and assorted motorbike parts.
The suspect is currently in police custody awaiting arraignment.
