A man (35) has been apprehended for beheading his two children, aged 2 and 7 years.
According to reports, the suspect identified as Geoffrey Kipkemoi might have used a kitchen knife to commit the horrifying act.
After the incident, the bodies of the two children were placed in the kitchen, according to the police.
The man’s wife was not at home during the incident, but as soon as she arrived, she followed the bloodstains that led her to the kitchen only to be shocked to find their bodies.
She informed the authorities at once, who visited the scene and recovered the suspected murder weapon.
The bodies of the deceased were later transferred to Kapkatet Hospital Mortuary for postmortem examination.
The suspect was arrested and is currently in police custody as investigations continue.
