Ledama Olekina Rallies Behind Youth Eyeing 2027 Leadership Positions

Narok Senator Ledama Olekina has offered to support youths seeking elective positions in 2027 but lack adequate resources.

In a statement on Tuesday, March 24, the Narok Senator called on young Kenyans interested in elective leadership to join step forward in a move aimed at nurturing them into a new generation of political leaders.

He also urged individuals aged 22 to 35 who lack financial resources to launch their campaigns to reach out to him for support and mentorship.

According to the senator, eligible candidates should hold academic qualifications in fields such as Political Science, Communication, Social Development, or Finance.

However, Ledama said that he is targeting youths specifically from five counties: Narok, Kajiado, Samburu, Laikipia, and Marsabit.

“Are you between 22 and 35 years old and passionate about making a difference through public office in Kenya, but lack the resources to launch your campaign? If you’re from Narok, Kajiado, Samburu, Laikipia, or Marsabit counties and hold a degree in Political Science, Communication, Social Development, or Finance, I’d love to connect with you,” ledama stated.

Let’s walk this journey together and explore how we can turn your leadership vision into reality,” he added.
