The Kenyatta National Hospital has announced surgery success performed to a minor.
In a statement on October 22, 2025, the facility disclosed that it had removed tissues am mounting 37 per cent of a 17-year-old girl’s body weight.
“In a landmark procedure believed to be the largest of its kind in the world, the team successfully removed 20.86 kilograms of breast tissue from Lydia, who suffered from a severe and rare condition known as gigantomastia”, part of the statement read.
