Kibera Soccer Women FC vs KISPED Queens

Kibera Soccer Women FC ensured a 3-0 victory as they hosted KISPED Queens in a league match played at the Marist International University, Karen.

The Kibera-based side came into the match with the urge to collect maximum points in the quest to pace up for the title with two games remaining to the end of the season.

After 20 minutes into the match, captain of the day Medina Abubakar opened the scoring to give the hosts the lead, and as both teams awaited the halftime whistle, Abubakar was at it again, slotting home after being put through by Anna Arusi to give Kibera a two-goal lead at the break.

Abubakar completed her hat trick in the 89th minute to ensure it ended 3-0 at full-time. The win ensures Kibera 41 points at the top of the table with two points ahead of Police Bullets.

Kenya Police Bullets FC vs Kisumu All-Starlets

At the Kenya School of Government, Kenya Police Bullets demolished lakeside Kisumu All Starlets in a humiliating 7-0 win.

The floodgates opened in the fourth minute when Leah Andiema converted from the spot after Emily Morang’a had been brought down in the box.

Six minutes later, Rebecca Odato doubled Police’s lead, before Morang’a scored the third in the 31st minute to ensure it was 3-0 at half time

Three minutes after the break, WPL top scorer Rebecca Okwaro got on the score sheet with her 14th goal of the season.

A 61st-minute own goal gave Police the fifth, with Morang’a and Vidah Okeyo adding to the tally in the 75th and 88th minutes, respectively, completing the riot to take Police’s points tally to 39. The Bullets sit second with a game at hand.
