Popular Kenyan actress Mary Khvere alias Mama Kayai has been feted with a lifetime achievement award during the Myogenic Excellence Awards 2025.
The event will set to be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at United Brethren Restoration Centre in the USA.
The awards ceremony will run in conjunction with the Myogenic Africa Mentorship Program, which targets emerging creatives and professionals in the diaspora and across Africa.
Mama Kayai is known for her iconic role in the Vitimbi comedy series which used to be aired on the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC).
She will be accompanied to the event by Rachael Njeri Wainaina, who is also a creative educator and filmmaker, alongside Honourable Hulda Momanyi, Ezekiel Mutua and Walter Mong’are.
