KBC Journalist Found Dead Inside House in Kinoo

The Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) fraternity is mourning following the death of Fredrick Parsayo, a journalist who served as a reporter in the editorial department.

KBC management confirmed his death and announced that the deceased passed away on Friday, March 21, at his home in the Kinoo, Kikuyu Constituency.

According to the media house, the journalist died under unclear circumstances, however, investigations have already commenced to establish the cause of death.

“It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of our esteemed colleague, Fredrick Parsayo, who served as a reporter in the KBC Editorial Department. Fredrick sadly left us on Friday, March 21, 2025, under circumstances that are still being investigated, at his home in the Kinoo-Kikuyu Constituency. This unexpected loss has deeply affected us all,” read part of the statement by KBC.

The deceased’s body was taken to St Teresa Mortuary with his family already informed about his demise.

KBC eulogized Parsayo as a cherished member of the editorial department whose absence will be felt by everyone who knew and worked alongside him.

“On behalf of the KBC Board of Directors, Management, and all our staff, we extend our sincerest condolences to Fredrick’s family, friends, and all those impacted by his loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time,” KBC added.

The incident has since been reported to the Kinoo Police Station and investigation have been launched.
