Kaz Lucas has undergone surgery to have her uterus removed after being diagnosed with fibroids.

Actress and human rights defender Kaz Lucas has recently disclosed that she has undergone a surgery to remove her uterus.
Speaking on her Tiktok account, she explained that her gynecologist discovered two fibroids thus leading to the decision to remove her uterus through a laparoscopic procedure.
“Two years ago I was diagnosed with fibroids. My gynecologist found two fibroids in my uterus and now I am having a hysterectomy. I will get my uterus removed.’’
Kaz Lucas also highlighted that she will not enter early menopause since her ovaries will remain intact further explaining that she will continue to ovulate as long as her ovaries are functioning.
The human right defender did not forget to reflect on her healing journey explaining how she had previously taken her health for granted.
“It makes me feel sad. I am more grateful for life nowadays because the thought of losing it has crossed my mind so much. My body is feeling a little bit weak, my spirit is feeling defeated but I am gonna fight that.’’
