A new congestion fee has been introduced to new Starlink customers with limited network capacity.
The company is owned by Elon Musk, who is an American billionaire.

According to him, the new network capacity was going to depend on the place where the person lived.
Every customer was to be required to pay Ksh.12899 as an additional fee in order to be able to access the internet.
The company had already started charging customers in the United Kingdom where most people had a huge subscription for satellite internet.
Elon Musk said that the congestion fee will be a one -time charge for customers purchasing or activating a new service plan.
The company on the other hand assured that it would no longer charge the fee to new customers once its network capacity improved.
This gave most people hopes to continue using the network hoping for the best in the future.
