Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has arrived in Washington, D.C., in the United States.
He landed at Dulles International Airport on the evening of Wednesday, February 4, where he was welcomed by Kenyans living in the US.
According to Kalonzo, his visit is part of plans to attend the 74th National Prayer Breakfast in the American capital.
He also noted that he will also use the trip to meet members of the Kenyan diaspora as well as other key stakeholders during his stay.

The former vice president is travelling with Kathiani MP and National Assembly Deputy Minority Leader Robert Mbui, as well as Makueni Senator Dan Maanzo.
His latest visit to the United States comes only weeks after another international trip to Lagos, Nigeria, where he attended the Future Africa Leaders Awards ceremony.
At the time, Kalonzo’s office said he had been invited as an honoured guest by the organisers of the event, led by African Leaders Awards (AFLA) founder Chikki Ogbinogbo.
His communications team noted that the invitation was in recognition of his long-standing leadership record and recent honours, including being named Africa Political Leader and Personality of the Year during the 10th anniversary of the London Political Summit and Awards.
The statement further indicated that Kalonzo’s participation reflected his commitment to pan-African unity, youth empowerment, and the promotion of leadership excellence across the continent, adding that he was expected to return soon after the ceremony.
