Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka has criticised party leaders for failing to accompany him to the unveiling of the Linda Mwananchi movement secretariat on Friday, October 30.
Speaking on Saturday, October 31, during the housewarming ceremony of Machakos Senator Agnes Kavindu, Kalonzo expressed disappointment over the absence of Wiper politicians at the event.
He contrasted their absence with the strong turnout of Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP) leaders led by former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, who attended the unveiling in large numbers and wore branded outfits.

Kalonzo urged Wiper leaders to strengthen their unity and work as a team ahead of the 2027 General Election, noting that collective mobilisation would be important as he seeks to expand his political reach across the country.
His remarks came a day after he faced heckling while addressing the Linda Mwananchi gathering.
The incident occurred after Kalonzo described Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna as a party leader rather than a presidential candidate, prompting sections of the crowd to chant Sifuna’s name.
The situation forced Sifuna to intervene and appeal to the audience to respect Kalonzo and allow him to complete his address.
Following the incident, Treasury Cabinet Secretary John Mbadi urged Kalonzo to abandon the Linda Mwananchi movement and join the broad-based government.
Mbadi criticised the movement’s organisers over their handling of the incident, accusing them of allowing Kalonzo to be disrespected.
He also questioned their political maturity and argued that the Wiper leader would be better placed working with President William Ruto’s administration.
The CS further expressed confidence that Ruto would secure re-election in the 2027 General Election.
