Juma Jux Denies Fathering Child With Another Woman

Tanzanian singer Juma Jux has denied claims that he fathered a child with another Tanzanian woman, describing the allegations as false.

Jux addressed the controversy after claims about the alleged child resurfaced online and attracted widespread attention.

The singer said he initially chose not to respond because he did not consider the allegations worth addressing.

However, he eventually broke his silence after the claims began affecting his name, family and business interests.

Jux noted that he had previously contacted the woman at the centre of the controversy to establish the truth behind the claims.

According to the singer, the woman told him that the two had never been romantically or sexually involved and advised him not to pay attention to the allegations.

Jux has since maintained that he is not the child’s father and warned against spreading information he considers false.

The singer also indicated that he had reported the matter to the relevant authorities and could pursue legal action against those who continue to spread the allegations.

However, the woman involved has called for a DNA test to settle the matter.

She appealed to Tanzania’s Minister of Community Development, Gender, Women and Special Groups, Dr Dorothy Gwajima, seeking assistance in having the paternity of the child established through DNA testing.

The woman maintained that a DNA test would provide a clear answer and determine whether Jux is the biological father.

The contrasting positions have continued to fuel public interest in the matter, with Jux firmly denying the allegation while the woman pushes for a scientific test to establish the child’s paternity.

Jux is married to Nigerian influencer Priscilla Ojo.
