Kenyan journalist Jeff Koinange has joined millions of fans across the world in mourning the death of legendary American country music icon Dolly Parton.
In an emotional post, Jeff paid a heartfelt tribute that highlighted the impact her music had on generations.
Parton died on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at the age of 80 after a brief battle with cancer.
The award-winning singer and songwriter was surrounded by her loved ones at the time of her passing, bringing to an end an illustrious career that spanned more than six decades.
