Identical Twins Score Same KCSE Grade

Will Emmanuel Isanda and Wayne John Isanda, identical twins, have once again demonstrated their academic prowess by earning identical A grades in the 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations.

The twins, Alliance Boys High School alumni, earned an A grade with 82 points.

Will and Wayne have consistently defied the odds since the COVID-19 pandemic, when they excelled in their KCPE exams at Imperial Primary School in Kisii, scoring 415 and 412 marks, respectively.

At the start of their secondary education, the boys faced a major setback after losing their mother to rheumatoid arthritis. However, this tragedy did not deter them from pursuing their dreams.

” We were just as successful in the KCPE when the tragedy of losing our mother hit us. But we had to be strong and excel for her. We made a mantra for ourselves that every time we experience disaster, we recover our master,” Will said.

Moreover, Will and Wayne are not strangers to success, they have always been scoring excellent and identical results since form one.

Everyone including their teachers always wondered how the two were able to score the same grades.

“We don’t know how, there are times the results just tie, like this time around, both of us got an A of 82 points. It is shocking, and teachers always ask us how is this possible, and we tell them it’s just a twin thing,” Wayne noted.

According to one of their family members, their success does not come as a shock since they are  hard workers who totally deserve the grades they got.

Talking of how they succeed, the boys make sure they keep each other in check, including waking each other up and helping each other revise.

About the future plans, the boys want to pursue neurology and cardiology respectively as they seek to mark their spot in the world.
